Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of Mankweng Services Hub by both Customers and Service Providers. Certain sections apply only to Customers, while others apply only to Service Providers.

SERVICE PROVIDER TERMS & CONDITIONS

Effective Date:  21 July 2026

Welcome to Mankweng Services Hub (Pty) Ltd. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Mankweng Provider platform. By registering as a Service Provider, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

1. Definitions

•Company - refers to Mankweng Services Hub (Pty) Ltd.

•Platform - refers to the Mankweng Services website and Mankweng Provider mobile application.

•Service Provider - means any independent contractor registered on the platform.

•Customer - means any person booking services through the platform.

•Booking - means a confirmed service request made by a customer.

 2. Eligibility

To register as a Service Provider you must:

•Be at least 18 years old.

•Possess valid identification.

•Have the required skills, qualifications, licences or certifications where applicable.

•Provide accurate registration information.

•Pass any verification required by the Company.

Providing false information may result in immediate account termination.

3. Independent Contractor Status

Service Providers are independent contractors and are not employees, agents or partners of Mankweng Services Hub (Pty) Ltd.

Service Providers are solely responsible for:

•Taxes

•Insurance

•Licences

• Business registration

 Equipment

• Employees

•Subcontractors

•Compliance with South African laws

The Company only connects customers and service providers and is not responsible for the quality of services provided.

4. Joining Fee

A once-off Joining Fee of R380 is payable within 14 days of successful registration.

Failure to pay within the required period may result in suspension or cancellation of your account.

The Joining Fee is strictly non-refundable under any circumstances except where required by applicable South African law.

5. Monthly Subscription

Each Service Provider must pay a monthly subscription fee of R280 to maintain an active account.

Failure to pay the monthly subscription may result in suspension until payment has been received.

Monthly subscription fees are strictly non-refundable.

6. Minimum Subscription Commitment

From the second month after activation of your account, you enter into a minimum eight (8) month subscription commitment.

During this period:

•Monthly subscription fees remain payable.

•You may not cancel your subscription before completing the eight-month commitment unless approved in writing by the Company or where required by law.

•If you stop using the platform before completing the commitment period, you remain responsible for paying all outstanding monthly subscription fees due for the remainder of the agreed commitment period.

After completing the eight-month commitment, you may cancel your subscription by giving 30 days' written notice.

 7. Platform Commission

The Company charges a 18% commission on every completed booking.

Commission will automatically be deducted before payment is made to the Service Provider.

8. Pricing

Service Providers determine their own service prices. Customers will see the quoted price before confirming a booking. Any additional charges must first be agreed to by the customer before work begins.

9. Booking Responsibilities

Service Providers agree to:

•Accept only bookings they are capable of completing.

•Arrive on time.

•Maintain professional conduct.

•Complete work to an acceptable standard.

•Communicate any delays immediately.

•Respect customers and their property.

10. Provider Cancellations

Providers should avoid cancelling confirmed bookings. Repeated cancellations without valid reasons may result in penalties, suspension or permanent removal from the platform.

11. No-Shows and Late Arrivals

If a Service Provider:

•Fails to arrive.

•Arrives excessively late without communication.

•Causes the customer to cancel due to lack of communication.

The Company may impose a 20% penalty on the booking value. Repeated offences may result in account suspension or permanent removal.

12. Customer Cancellations

Customer cancellations are governed by the Customer Refund and Cancellation Policy. Where a provider has already travelled or commenced work, payments will be handled in accordance with Company policies.

 13. Payments

Payments are processed through approved payment methods.

Provider earnings will be paid after deduction of:

• Platform commission

•Applicable penalties

•Outstanding subscription fees where authorised

• Other lawful deductions

 14. Refund Policy

The following fees are non-refundable:

•Joining Fee (R380)

• Monthly Subscription (R280)

Refunds relating to customer bookings will be handled in accordance with the Company's Customer Refund Policy.

 15. Ratings and Reviews

Customers may rate Service Providers after completing a booking. Repeated poor ratings, complaints or misconduct may result in suspension or termination. Reviews that are fraudulent, abusive or misleading may be removed.

 16. Insurance

Service Providers are responsible for obtaining any insurance required for their business. The Company may request proof of insurance at any time.

17. Background Verification

The Company may conduct identity or background verification before or after registration.

Failure to pass verification may result in suspension or account termination.

18. Prohibited Conduct

Service Providers may not:

• Provide false information.

• Commit fraud.

•Overcharge customers after confirming prices.

• Use abusive or threatening language.

• Damage customer property intentionally.

• Share customer information without permission.

•Attempt to take bookings off-platform to avoid commission.

•Engage in illegal activities.

19. Suspension and Termination

The Company may suspend or terminate any account for:

•Non-payment.

• Fraud.

•Criminal conduct.

• Repeated customer complaints.

•Safety concerns.

•Repeated cancellations.

•Violation of these Terms and Conditions.

Termination does not remove any outstanding payment obligations.

20. Limitation of Liability

Mankweng Services Hub (Pty) Ltd acts only as a marketplace connecting customers with independent Service Providers.

The Company is not liable for:

• Loss of income

• Business losses

•Property damage caused by providers

•Personal injury

• Poor workmanship

•Disputes between customers and providers

To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, liability is limited accordingly.

 21. Indemnity

Service Providers agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mankweng Services Hub (Pty) Ltd, its directors, employees and affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, legal costs or liabilities arising from:

•Services provided.

•Breach of these Terms.

•Negligence.

•Violation of any law.

 22. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, branding, software and website content remain the property of Mankweng Services Hub (Pty) Ltd. Providers may not copy or use Company branding without written permission.

23. Privacy

Personal information will be collected and processed in accordance with the Company's Privacy Policy and the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

 24. Changes to Terms

The Company may amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated Terms will be published on the website and mobile application. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

 25. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

Welcome to Mankweng Services Hub (Pty) Ltd. These Customer Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Mankweng Services website and mobile application when booking services from independent Service Providers. By creating an account or booking a service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

 

 1. Definitions

 

For the purposes of these Terms:

Company means Mankweng Services Hub (Pty) Ltd.

Platform means the Mankweng Services website and mobile application.

Customer means any person who creates an account or books services through the Platform.

Service Provider  means an independent contractor registered on the Platform.

Booking means a confirmed request for services placed by a Customer.

 2. Eligibility

To use the Platform you must:

* Be at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

* Provide accurate and complete registration information.

* Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.

* Accept responsibility for all activities conducted through your account.

Providing false information may result in suspension or termination of your account.

3. Customer Account

Customers are responsible for:

* Keeping login details secure.

* Updating personal information when it changes.

* Ensuring payment information is correct.

* Immediately reporting any unauthorized use of their account.

The Company is not responsible for losses resulting from unauthorized access caused by the Customer's failure to protect their account.

4. Booking Services

Customers may browse available Service Providers and submit booking requests through the Platform.

By confirming a booking, the Customer agrees to:

* Pay the quoted service price.

* Provide accurate service location details.

* Ensure reasonable access to the property.

* Treat Service Providers with courtesy and respect.

Bookings are subject to the Service Provider's availability.

 5. Pricing and Payments

Service prices are determined solely by the independent Service Provider.

Customers agree to:

* Pay the quoted amount before or as required by the booking process.

* Pay any additional charges only after agreeing to them in advance.

* Use approved payment methods available on the Platform.

Mankweng Services Hub processes payments on behalf of Service Providers and may deduct applicable platform fees before transferring earnings to the Service Provider.

6. Customer Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel bookings subject to the Company's Refund Policy.

The following cancellation rules apply:

*Cancellation within 30 minutes before work starts: Customer receives an 80% refund and a 20% cancellation fee applies.

*Cancellation after 30 minutes but before work starts: Customer receives a 70% refund and a 30% cancellation fee applies.

*No refund once the Service Provider has started the work, unless the Company determines that the Provider is at fault.

* If the Customer fails to be present or provide access at the agreed time without prior notice, the booking may be treated as a Customer no-show and no refund may be issued.

7. Provider Delays or No-Shows

If a Service Provider:

* Fails to arrive,

* Cancels without reasonable notice, or

* Is significantly delayed without communication,the Customer should report the matter through the Platform.

Where appropriate, the Company may:

* Arrange another Service Provider.

* Provide a full refund.

* Apply penalties against the Service Provider.

 8. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

* Provide accurate booking information.

* Be available at the scheduled appointment time.

* Provide safe access to the work area.

* Treat Service Providers respectfully.

 Not engage in abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or unlawful behaviour.Customers remain responsible for securing valuable belongings before work begins.

 9. Ratings and Reviews

After a completed booking, Customers may leave ratings and reviews.

Reviews must:

• Be truthful.

• Be based on actual experiences.

• Not contain offensive, defamatory, false, or abusive content.The Company reserves the right to remove reviews that violate these Terms.

 10. Independent Service Providers

Service Providers available through the Platform are independent contractors and are not employees, agents, or representatives of Mankweng Services Hub (Pty) Ltd.The Company facilitates introductions and payment processing but does not supervise or control how services are performed.

 11. Complaints and Disputes

Customers who experience issues with a booking should contact the Company as soon as reasonably possible.The Company may investigate complaints and, where appropriate:

• Request supporting evidence.

• Contact both parties.

• Determine an appropriate resolution.

• Issue refunds where justified.

• Suspend or remove Service Providers who repeatedly breach Company policies

12. Prohibited Conduct

Customers may not:

 Provide false information.

• Make fraudulent bookings.

•Abuse or threaten Service Providers.

•Submit false complaints to obtain refunds.

•Attempt to avoid payment.

• Use the Platform for unlawful purposes.

• Share another person's personal information without permission.Violation of these Terms may result in account suspension or permanent termination.

 13. Privacy

Personal information collected through the Platform will be processed in accordance with the Company's Privacy Policy and the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

 14. Limitation of Liability

Mankweng Services Hub (Pty) Ltd provides an online marketplace connecting Customers with independent Service Providers.To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, the Company is not liable for:

• Poor workmanship.

• Delays caused by Service Providers.

• Property damage caused by Service Providers.

•Personal injury.

• Loss of income.

• Consequential or indirect losses.

•Disputes between Customers and Service Providers.

 15. Indemnity

Customers agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mankweng Services Hub (Pty) Ltd, its directors, employees, and affiliates against claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and legal costs arising from:

• Breach of these Terms.

• Misuse of the Platform.

• Unlawful conduct.

• False or misleading information provided by the Customer.

 16. Suspension and Termination

The Company may suspend or permanently terminate a Customer account where the Customer:

•Violates these Terms.

• Commits fraud.

• Fails to pay for booked services.

• Repeatedly abuses Service Providers.

• Uses the Platform unlawfully.

17. Changes to These Terms

Mankweng Services Hub (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.Updated versions will be published on the website and mobile application. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

 18. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

Acceptance
